After the World Cargo Association’s break of three years due to COVID-19, Prime Logistics Group is delighted to be re-connecting with thousands of fellow freight forwarders from around the globe for the return of the Annual WCA Worldwide Conference – this year in Singapore, Feb. 18-22. Visit Booth F3 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
“As the world’s largest and most powerful network of independent freight forwarders, not only are we are thrilled to be attending the industry’s most important business opportunity of the year, but we are also honored to be here in Singapore to celebrate WCA’s 25th Anniversary,” says Omar Zambrano, COO of the Prime Group of companies.
Attending a global convention of this magnitude is key to the company’s global sales strategy. “WCA shows provide a vital platform to showcase the wide-ranging logistics services and products we offer,” he adds, “but it is also perhaps the single most productive way to re-connect with existing partners and identify new business among the industry leaders and experts in logistics who will be here – all under one roof.” Zambrano has overseen daily operations of Prime Logistics, a global provider of third-party logistics and services based in Miami, for more than 22 years.
According to Group Sales Manager Yulieth Onofre who is leading Prime Logistics Group’s representation at the Singapore conference, “As a WCA member since 2019, we know well the power of participating in their conferences, but this show in particular will serve to open doors to new markets like no other, and raise our profile around the globe,” Being a WCA member is just one outward sign of the company’s long-term commitment to empowering Prime Logistics to better serve its global customers today and well into the future.
WCA organizers anticipate record attendance numbers – well in excess of 3,000 members from over 180 countries. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary, WCA is also hosting a range of special social networking events alongside a series of One-on-One business meetings.
As a delegate, the Prime Logistics Sales team undoubtedly will have the opportunity to conduct more business at the WCA Worldwide Conference than can be achieved in months of business travel. “Yes, you can build and maintain relationships with customers over a phone call or in a video conference, but somehow it’s just not the same,” adds Onofre. “It’s good to be back!”
Clearly, the biggest benefit to attending trade shows is the ability to further develop the Prime Logistics portfolio of services,” she emphasizes. “But frankly it’s also important that we check in, first-hand, on emerging trends – to see what the competition is up to.”
